Sensitive skin kit rivals Elemis but less than £20
The Kaeso Calming Kit is a delicate range for sensitive skin and I would say that as the products are beautifully packaged and feel lovely on the skin, last ages and are £18.95 for five items with free delivery, this is a real bargain if ever there was one.
The products are really for dry skins and moisturise, remove makeup and dirt, all without stinging or causing irritation. The moisturiser leaves your face really soft and a little goes a long way so is really good value for money.
Kaeso products smell good, and the exfoliator is gentle and the calming mask is easy to use. I must admit that I am an Elemis fan, but the positive feedback online drove me to try out Kaeso. It really does compare well, and would be a …

imPress press on manicure – gift idea
This is another product that caught my eye as manicures are such a nice gift, but are often expensive and time consuming and inflexible, in terms of appointment availability and waiting time.
I do however have a friend that comes to my house to take care of my nails, but can’t really “gift” her to all my friends and family, so along come imPRESS press-on manicure nails.
I roped in my neighbour whose nails could do with some care and attention and we try out the nails as they are around £6 and should last a week!
In the box you get 24 ultra-shine gel nails and 6 accent nails. You also get a prep pad, a file and some instructions.
Firstly as the nails were mainly …

MayBeauty Incredible Face Mask review
Skincare is super important to me…ask my family, they would even say I am a little obsessed. I use cleansing balm, serum, moisturiser and sun block on a daily basis, and regularly partake in facials. So when MayBeauty got in touch to offer their Incredible Face Mask, I jumped at the chance to try it out.
As I got five face masks, I decided to have a beauty party! Between us we have very different skin:
1. One male that uses no beauty products
2. Oily skin lady in her 50s
3. Combination skin lady in her 50s
4. Dry skin lady in her 40s
5. Dry skin lady in her 30s
I figured that we would all go through the same process and see whether wearing an odd black face mask would make a …

Impartial free beauty and hair advice
You know that feeling of dread when you walk up to a makeup counter in a department store or even Boots, and accept that you will be sold at. It’s like when you have walked up to Clinique or Estee Lauder counter and you will be told the virtues of only their products, whether they are just right for you or not.
So imagine my delight when I asked London Beauty Queen on Twitter about some beauty product advice. She told me to head over to Tesco for free 20 minute online beauty consultation with her. Well I did just that.
I booked a free online beauty consultation with a top beauty blogger and then because I got so much out of it, I had another one! During the consultations the experts do not try …

Free entry to major attractions with Blue Peter badge
Master Bargain Hunter finally got his Blue Peter badge and as well as being extremely proud of him, I was well chuffed to see how much money we will be saving when visiting places like Warwick Castle, the Tower of London and Alton Towers as kids with Blue Peter badges get in for nothing.
Of course, your little un needs to put in some effort to get the badge and prove that they are worthy. In Master Bargain Hunter’s case, he got a green badge. His badge was awarded for sending in a letter (he had to write it by himself) and pictures (we used photos) of him doing activity that helps the environment. He was a beaver scout so did lots of things that qualified him for the badge, from building bug huts, going …
