    MandM Direct sale on now

I love a good sale and I have to share info on the MandM Direct sale. It’s up to 80% off. I am a bit of a fan of the online retailer as it’s got such great brands on there including Converse, Uggs, Firetrap, Levis and Hunter.

Even when they are not in sale I must admit the quality of clothing and footwear is good, as they are mainly from well known brands and unlike some other branded fashion retailers, they cater for men, women and kids, and offer footwear.

I recently got some summer sandals and a sweatshirt, and both arrived promptly, and were packaged well. The sandals were from the online retailer’s well stocked holiday shop. There are Mad Wax Mens Adventure Sandals in black and grey. They are pretty sturdy and at …

Tanning products for the budget conscious

When summer comes around I always turn to fake tan to give me a head start on a healthy glow and some natural (looking anyway!) colour for my holidays. This year I decided to stray from my usual brand as I wanted to try something new. So, to really do a comparison between my preferred fake tan and the two new ones I decided to trial, I went for a cheap and cheerful version – Sunkissed, which starts at just £4.99 for 150–250ml and comes in gels, mousses and sprays so you can choose whatever application you like best – and a more expensive one – Manuka Doctor, which is usually priced at £24.99 but is currently on special offer for £14.95 for 200ml gels.

I tried the Manuka ApiBronze Anti-Cellulite Bronzing Gel…

Couture for £27.50 – can it be true?

So you’ve spent your money on THE perfect dress for that summer occasion you’ve been looking forward to – and now you are forced to use a mismatching bag you have at home. Know the scenario? I do, but maybe this new rental website – ‘The Handbag Rental’ could solve this tomorrow.

Starting from just £27.50 a week to rent designer arm candy, The Handbag rental service both provides an easy way to get that expensive look you have always been dreaming of, as well as also offering the option of putting your own bags on the site to rent out.

And if you own a handbag, you can also benefit. This difference between this site sets and other handbag rental sites as it can also give designer bag owners a slice of income without …

Fluid summer sandals from M&M Direct – only £4.99

Now that the summer is finally here and the sun is starting to shine, I have started looking at cute sandals to enjoy the next few months of hot weather in. Whether you are going on holiday, commuting to and from work, trawling the shops for summer sales or just relaxing in the garden, a good pair of sandals – or lightweight slip-on shoes – are a must now that the sunshine has appeared.

I tend to only buy one or two pairs of sandals every summer – just for use that one season, as I don’t expect bargain summer sandals to last for five years’ worth of summers. So these gorgeous Fluid slip-on summer sandals from M&M Direct are an absolute steal as they only cost £4.99 a pair. They come in pretty turquoise …

I am a bit of a Regis Salon fan, especially their walk in off the street £25 cut and blow dry offer. Anyway, on their website, ShopRegis.com, they have just started to sell the Regis Little Black Box again – a styling set packed with hair and beauty travel essentials perfect for summer holidays.

    MayBeauty Incredible Face Mask review

Skincare is super important to me…ask my family, they would even say I am a little obsessed. I use cleansing balm, serum, moisturiser and sun block on a daily basis, and regularly partake in facials. So when MayBeauty got in touch to offer their Incredible Face Mask, I jumped at the chance to try it out.

As I got five face masks, I decided to have a beauty party!  Between us we have very different skin:

    1. One male that uses no beauty products

    2. Oily skin lady in her 50s

    3. Combination skin lady in her 50s

    4. Dry skin lady in her 40s

    5. Dry skin lady in her 30s

I figured that we would all go through the same process and see whether wearing an odd black face mask would make a …

Impartial free beauty and hair advice

You know that feeling of dread when you walk up to a makeup counter in a department store or even Boots, and accept that you will be sold at. It’s like when you have walked up to Clinique or Estee Lauder counter and you will be told the virtues of only their products, whether they are just right for you or not.

So imagine my delight when I asked London Beauty Queen on Twitter about some beauty product advice. She told me to head over to Tesco for free 20 minute online beauty consultation with her. Well I did just that.

I booked a free online beauty consultation with a top beauty blogger and then because I got so much out of it, I had another one! During the consultations the experts do not try …

All you need to know about Brantano

Like most women, I love shoes. Pretty shoes, comfy boots, gorgeous strappy sandals…there’s so much choice around. Clarks has been a long-time staple for the kids, but I am shoe shop agnostic and will shop whereever there is a gorgeous shoe.

However, one shop that I have passed by on many occasion and not ventured into is Brantano.  Unfortunately, I have mistakingly understood it to be full of cheap tat…oh how wrong was I?

Brantano caters for men, women and kids. They also have lots of great brands available, ranging from Adidas trainers, rieker, Skechers and Hush Puppies to budget yet beautiful Emilio Luca X high heels.  Better yet, when you shop online they offer free delivery on any spend over £20 – so that’s most shoes!

I like the idea of Brantano because …

Poundland MakeUp Gallery products – what beauty bloggers think

Last year I went to the launch of Poundland’s new makeup range…now five months on, I am still using their eyeshadow as it’s gorgeous and their nailvarnishes too. Seeing as I love some of their products, I thought that I’d see what beauty bloggers also think and so have been trawling through beauty blogs to get the info, just for you!

The value make up range from Poundland is seriously a bargain as you guessed it, each item is…just a pound. For young girls, anyone on a tight budget or if you just fancy experimenting, it’s a smart move by Poundland.

The reviews are generally positive, as frankly you can’t really buy that much for a pound these days, and definitely not great make up. I decided to summarise reviews into winning products and losing …

What dry cracked skin needs…is an all-natural moisturiser from the peeps down under

For those with sensitive skin that’s dry or cracked, the rigmarole of trying to find a moisturiser that doesn’t aggravate your skin further can be a real pain – particularly if you want to find one that’s also a bargain. So when the good folks at What Skin Needs sent me three new skin friendly moisturisers to test, I was happy to give them a whirl.

Firstly, an introduction to What Skin Needs …

This is an Australian brand that boasts intensive skin solutions for problems including irritation from warm and cold weather, cracked skin, dry skin, and skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis. Its moisturisers contain the active ingredient Plantolin which is a patent-protected active plant extract, scientifically proven to soothe, renew and protect the skin. This key ingredient, Plantolin, is derived …
