    Office shoes from 99p

Yes, you read it right. Did you know that Office has an eBay store, where it sells ex-display and slightly defect shoes online? Well it does.

The shoes start at 99p, and a standard £3.50 postage charge, though they offer a combined shipping discout of up to 10 items, and international shipping from £5. They run both auctions and buy it now. For buy it now, you can shop full price, sale or ex-display.

Office has a listing called New with Defects, which means that it may be in one of the following categories:

    • Shop Soiled
    • Ex-Display
    • Minor Manufacturing Defect
    • General Scuffs and Scrapes

They provide an image of the exact shoe you are bidding on (and if there is more than one defect they provide an image of each) and a brief description …

Fluid summer sandals from M&M Direct – only £4.99

Now that the summer is finally here and the sun is starting to shine, I have started looking at cute sandals to enjoy the next few months of hot weather in. Whether you are going on holiday, commuting to and from work, trawling the shops for summer sales or just relaxing in the garden, a good pair of sandals – or lightweight slip-on shoes – are a must now that the sunshine has appeared.

I tend to only buy one or two pairs of sandals every summer – just for use that one season, as I don’t expect bargain summer sandals to last for five years’ worth of summers. So these gorgeous Fluid slip-on summer sandals from M&M Direct are an absolute steal as they only cost £4.99 a pair. They come in pretty turquoise …

All you need to know about Brantano

Like most women, I love shoes. Pretty shoes, comfy boots, gorgeous strappy sandals…there’s so much choice around. Clarks has been a long-time staple for the kids, but I am shoe shop agnostic and will shop whereever there is a gorgeous shoe.

However, one shop that I have passed by on many occasion and not ventured into is Brantano.  Unfortunately, I have mistakingly understood it to be full of cheap tat…oh how wrong was I?

Brantano caters for men, women and kids. They also have lots of great brands available, ranging from Adidas trainers, rieker, Skechers and Hush Puppies to budget yet beautiful Emilio Luca X high heels.  Better yet, when you shop online they offer free delivery on any spend over £20 – so that’s most shoes!

I like the idea of Brantano because …

Real leather ankle boots from M&S for £39.50

After my debacle with Clark’s falling apart boots – on the way from a meeting my boot’s heel came off – I needed a new pair of work boots.

Problem is we are now pretty much out of sale season and unless you want obscure stuff, like the £30 snow boots I got from Jones (down from £100) in March last year, most of the ordinary work boots in the sales are gone.

I needed to spend as little as possible, but wanted leather, a mid-height tough heel – not easily scuffable – nothing too plain, and they had to be comfortable, have good reviews and be available in my size.

I found some lovely wedges at Next for £38, but there’s a three week delivery on my size. The rest of their boots were …
