    Save money on supermarket wine with a personal wine expert app – Wotwine

    Now I must admit when I go to the supermarket, I choose the wines that are knocked down from £9.99 to £4 or £5. I figure that if it costs so much in the first place, it must taste good.

    I like dry white wine and rose, but couldn’t name a good grape to save my life and when I get to the supermarket, I am faced with a confusing array of wines and prices.

    Fill the toy cupboard without breaking the bank – find cheap toys

    Kids love toys, but they can get so expensive, so where did I get a monopoly set for 50 p, Scrabble for 30 p or Pokemon cards for 10 p each?

    Well one place is the school fayre – either Christmas or summer, there is always a toy stall, where other parents bring in their used toys and you can buy them for next to nothing.

    Get there early, or better still I have heard that the ladies who help set up the stalls often buy the best toys the night before….suppose they are first in the queue! Go to schools in better areas or private schools as the quality of some of the items is better, but expect to pay a bit more of course.

    Car boot sales are also awesome for cheap toys. …

    Make money – see what unwanted things I have sold on eBay

    Now I love to grab a bargain on eBay, but I don’t like to use use “my” money to do it.

    So to pay for my eBay purchases, I also sell on eBay and at the moment I have 10 items listed as now is the perfect time to sell, especially as buyers are looking for presents.

    I don’t like clutter (much) and try to rid myself of stuff that is lying idle in a cupboard somewhere on a regular basis…maybe once a week if I have the time. I could list anything between two and ten items. I mostly list from my phone as it’s quicker.

    I search for other similar items in the completed items tab to determine the price at which I’ll sell.
